A RDP housing project by a design collective in Beira, Mozambique. Our team constructed all of the houses using our hempcrete block system and applied airPLAST plastering for finishing. In-situ cast columns were used as the substructure on site, and airCOAT was used as the lime-based paint. The main learning outcome of this project was the transfer of skills from conventional building methods to bricklayers and plasterers.
